Kodak Gallery (www.kodakgallery.com), formerly known as "Ofoto", is the leading online digital photo developing service. The Kodakgallery.com site provides consumers with a secure and easy way to view, store and share their photos with friends and family and get real Kodak prints of their pictures. The site also provides free editing and creative tools and specialty photo products.
How we started
The Company was founded in July 1999 in Berkeley, California by a diverse group of Internet veterans united by a passion for photography and the shared frustration of being unable to get high-quality prints from their digital cameras. As digital photographers, they knew that it was easier to share digital pictures with family and friends, but they also wanted film-quality prints. From frustration came innovation as they set out to develop an advanced, yet easy-to-use, Internet service. They built their own digital photography lab and opened for business on December 13, 1999 with the launch of the Web site, www.ofoto.com. In June of 2001, Ofoto, Inc. became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eastman Kodak Company and in March 2005, we changed our company name to Kodak Imaging Network, Inc.

How RITZPIX started:
Our origin dates back to 1918. In that year Benjamin Ritz began operating a portrait studio on the famous boardwalk in Atlantic City. With the success of the studio in Atlantic City, Benjamin opened additional studios in New York and Philadelphia. In 1936 Benjamin traveled to Washington DC to open a film-processing lab with his younger brother Edward. At this time our customers could get quality black and white film developed and printed overnight for 25 cents a roll.
This was the beginning of Ritz Camera as we know it today.Today we are a leader in the photo industry and have grown to over 1000 retail locations nationwide. Since the beginning, we have prided ourselves on our quality of photofinishing and commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Our motto from the early days, “Expert, Personal, Friendly Service “ is at the very heart of our company.In July 2003 we launched “Ritzpix.com”, the first web site to offer online ordering and pickup at our retail locations.
